Fox on John · Downtown Toronto
OUR STORY.
British roots. Toronto soul. A familiar welcome, a table with room for one more and a restaurant that moves with the city.
About Fox on John
A LITTLE BRITISH.
A LOT TORONTO.
We’re a downtown Toronto restaurant, bar and pub built around a simple idea: a good table brings people together. British-inspired comfort food, generous hospitality and the energy of John Street.
At John and Adelaide, in the heart of the Entertainment District, Fox on John is a place for the plans you make and the evenings that take on a life of their own.
Brunch with friends. Lunch between meetings. Dinner before the theatre. One more song before heading home. There’s more than one way to make yourself at home here.
Come hungry. Stay a little longer.
GOOD FOOD.
A PROPER WELCOME.
Our menus bring together familiar favourites, dishes worth sharing and reasons to come back. Whether you’re settling in for a full meal or meeting over drinks, we want the table to feel like the right place to be.
From first coffee to last song

FAMILIAR ROOTS.
OUR OWN RHYTHM.
Fox on John is part of the Fox & Fiddle family within Reign Company. We share a belief in welcoming hospitality and the simple pleasure of bringing people together over food and drinks.
Here on John Street, that spirit takes on the pace of downtown Toronto: brunches, busy tables, live DJs and celebrations with a distinctly local feel.
Right where your plans come together
